This was actually the latest book I read. I first saw the DVD version but find it difficult to comprehend, so I ask the book instead. Basically the book tackles about optimism-Law of attraction as the secret to holistic success. In some point, the book was good and inspiring especially the experiences being tackled, where you can really see true to life stories of "the secret users" and how it changed them. Well as a reader, to some extent, it helped me a lot especially in dealing things I am low of- self-confidence and self-esteem, that if you start your day positively, the rest of the day will be the same then, that what you attract the most will surely happen or come for that matter. I want to discuss further on this and give some examples, but better read the book nlang.
In contrast, I found the book to be anti-Christ, because in the book, it says there that the universe can provide all the things you want, that all things run inside your mind, that if you have a powerful attracting powers, you can get all the things you want-material or non-material. In short, everything is under your control, either your wants will approach you or otherwise. But as Christians, we know for a fact that God is the only powerful provider, that without Him we'll not possess all these things. There are some things beyond our control, that only God Himself can manage. "that if this thing is meant for you, its really meant for you"
It was also stressed there, that if you want something to happen you just concentrately attract it, and boom it will happen. Unbelievable but true, supported by true to life experiences from the book.
But nevertheless, I still liked the book. Perhaps, it was meant to be a faith tester.
the book might have mean something to others, I just perceived it differently. Perhaps I'm not that too intellectual to really dig into the real essence. This is just a matter of opinion and evaluation about the book.
Anyways, I have another book to read, hopefully I'll finish it on time. Its entitled self-esteem.. Hmmm.. I badly need more self-esteem pa... hehehe
Thank you for the invitation BOOKIES.....
