my first stephen king

i just finished reading "carrie" by stephen king.

it's the first book by king that i read.
i was intrigued because king is a new york times bestselling author, and i've heard he's a good horror writer.

however, "carrie" is not really a horror story. it's more on sci-fi (because it's about a telekinetic girl) and suspense (because the girl claimed revenge).

my verdict: fun to read for thrill-seekers like me! i could imagine the scenes in my mind as if i was watching a suspense movie. very dark and creepy. not for the weak-hearted!
